Waterways For Wildlife

Lead organisation: Irish wildlife trust (Non-governmental)

This programme aims to highlight the importance of waterways as biodiversity corridors, and train communities in biodiversity monitoring skills. The project consists in carrying out wildlife surveys in three locations of a stretch of waterway, during which the local community play a full role in documenting the natural heritage found.
