RISC (Recording Invasive Species Counts)

Lead organisation: DEFRA (Governmental)

The Recording Invasive Species Counts (RISC) project is a way to find out more and to contribute to our understanding of the distribution and ecology of non-native species.

Policy uptake explanation

Invasive Species Action Plans are used to help coordinate the response to key invasive non-native species across England, Scotland and Wales. The plans provide a short and strategic overview identifying the key aims, objectives and actions. ISAPs are developed by stakeholders and coordinated by NNSS
