SeaWatch-B

Lead organisation: The Flanders Marine Institute (Academic)

It trains and provides a group of citizens ('Seawatchers') with equipment in order to allow them to perform a monitoring scheme of the Belgian North Sea shore. The 10 parameters that are measured (incl. jellyfish, marine debris, seawater t°, lugworms, Patella, fish/crustaceans, etc) allows the organisers to inform policy-makers on the condition of the North Sea (NL).
