1 Definition¶

An institutional body, an organisation or programme that provides reliable, trusted (authoritative?) EO Information and that has the financial resources to sustain the provision. It utilizes satellite Data, ground-based measurements, and other sources to generate accurate and timely Data products related to various aspects of the Earth's environment, such as land, atmosphere, oceans, and climate.
